Well, the bar exam is finally done! I finished it...and survived. Hopefully I passed and will never have to deal with it again. It was extremely difficult and the entire process was pretty grueling. I came home and decided to make a cocktail, as promised in my last post. This cocktail was so light and refreshing but needed a fun name. I know I'm done with the bar, but does that mean I have to stop making dumb law school jokes and puns? NO? Fantastic!
5 Comments Hey everyone! It has been over a week since I have last posted and I'm getting a little antsy. I am, however, crazy swamped with the Bar Exam being about a week and a half away! This is scary but also exciting because at least it will be over! Because the exam is so close, though, this will be my last post until after it is over...at which point I will probably post some ridiculous cocktails, as that is what I will *thoroughly* be enjoying once this insanity is over.
So for those of you who follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you are probably aware that I get fresh local produce delivered from this great local business called Go Local Produce. I am a HUGE fan. One of the best parts is that it is always a surprise as to what you will be getting (unless you cheat and look at the website but I like to be surprised!) Here are a few of the goodies I've received from them: I know, I know. The poll on my Facebook page indicates that my next post should be a pasta dish. And yes, I know that making a Greek Salad with watermelon already *is* twisting it, but I couldn't resist (nor could I think of a better title). However, I have a fridge full of watermelon cubes, it's summer, I love cheese, and I think we should all celebrate the fact that I have miraculously kept my fresh herbs alive (for the most part) throughout the entire time I've been studying for the Bar Exam. I'll pause for a small applause.... nothing? Okay let's move on...
Hi Friends and Followers! Just wanted to update you and let you know that my Frozen Nutella Encrusted Bananas have been featured on BellaNutella! Here is the link YAY Exciting!! Have a great day everyone! Back to BarBri videos for me!! :) This blog post will be rather quick, as I have a lot of work to do for Bar Exam stuff, but I just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July!! Happy Birthday America! This year, I decided to try out the "American Flag Cake" created by 17 and Baking with a great version by Glorious Treats. Below, I have included an instructional video on how to make and assemble the cake, and it's a nice way for you to get to know me better! Please check it out! I will also post some pictures from the process and let you know how it went. The picture above is after the cake had melted for about 3-4 hours so if you served it cold it probably wouldn't be so messy but sometimes I think messy is more beautiful than perfect.
